The Bad Reputation

Loretta Remington

Lead vocals

Prior to founding this all-female tribute to Joan Jett and the Blackhearts, Loretta was the founding member and lead singer for the band “Jett Set Salute”. Growing up in a musical family, Loretta sang on and off through the years. Besides Joan Jett, early influences include Pat Benatar. “My dream was to ultimately sing in an all-female band.” Loretta’s ability to capture the presence of Joan Jett, with her unmistakable raspy voice, AND looks (remarkably resembling Joan herself), brings a truly amazing musical tribute experience to the stage!

Lorrie Kountz

Lead guitar, synth, vocals

Being a virtuoso in both guitar and piano, Lorrie has toured the United States, Canada, and Mexico and has shared the stage with U2, Scorpions, Ramones, Cramps and New York Dolls to name a few. Lorrie has written and recorded over ten Internationally distributed CD’s/Vinyl with her projects Bitch, Surrendur Dorothi, Rash, and Whatismu, highlighting several genres including Industrial, Rock, and Punk.Lorrie has appeared on television and radio specials including NBC, ABC, FOX, WGN, and WTTW’s ‘Wild Chicago’ feature. She has been highlighted in major publications such as Chicago Tribune, Chicago Sun Times, The Reader, Illinois Entertainer, and has been featured multiple times in Guitar Player Magazine. Most recently, Lorrie has performed and recorded with Paul Barker (Ministry, REVCO) in his project Lead Into Gold.

Laura Jansons

Guitar, Vocals

Formerly of the band Whatismu, this “Rock-Doc”, is a multimedia artist, composer, and rhythm guitarist. Laura embodies the coolest solid hard rock guitar passages, and plays the acoustic guitar parts with soul. Laura has worked with Lorrie in previous music projects including Chick Norris (rock/new wave band) and the Lorrie Kountz Band (Classic Rock, Prog, originals).

Donna Lee

Vocals, Bass

Donna has been playing bass guitar since 2013 with the McHenry, Illinois based band BLINDSPOT, a seven piece rock, alternative, 70’s Rock Revival Band that performs both cover and original songs. Prior to BLINDSPOT, Donna played drums throughout Europe in 2010!

Terry Lynn

Vocals, Drums

Terry, having a passion for drums since watching her male friends perform in her early high school years, didn’t bring her passion to the stage until her 40s. “Life gets in the way sometimes and I thought (in my mid–30s) that it was too late to start.” A few years later, after attending some local jam nights and playing with other musicians, she helped form a band within a year! “Now I tell others that it’s truly never too late to start, I’m having the time of my life!” Terry is the founding member, drummer and back-up vocalist for Cherry Bomb (All Female Tribute to The Runaways), founding member, drummer and backup-vocalist for Lollipop (Classic Rock Band), and was the drummer for the “nationally touring” Gone 2 Paradise (Jimmy Buffett Tribute Band) in 2018/2019. Terry was interviewed and featured in the 2019 documentary “Beat Keepers, Women with Rhythm”.
